I had a person whom I thought was a friend yell at me after I requested help from them, and they proceeded to accuse me of a litany of things such as trying to turn people against their significant other (whom I was already having problems with), and telling me to stop seeking sympathy from them. Problem is that I lived with said person's SO. I wasn't on the lease. I was told by the person I was going to be kicked out of the house for my behavior. While I had been clashing a lot with said SO, I was bucking up and dealing with it because I loved my work.

I simply told the person that I would be out of their hair after that, and left the house a few days later with whatever I could take in two suitcases and my backpack. No warning, no muss. Now I'm dealing with the accusation that I didn't pay any bills (which I have the bank statements to prove I did) but I'm not responding to them. Legally they don't have any recourse.

That's a whole group of people I dropped contact with after that day.
