I have seriously debated making porn movies. I wouldn't know where to start (I need a big budget, dammit, not an eastern European hooker!) but I have so many cool ideas to bring to film!
You ever really watch porn? Not just pop a video, tug and leave - seriously look at it. It goes like this: oral, intercourse for 15 minutes in different boring positions, money shot, and the video ends right after.
We need a narrative! It makes it so much better if you can get lost in the story! And not just a lazy title like 'mother gets it on with son' but they speak Russian and the 'mom' is barely old enough to drink. They need to incorporate some story into it, and that's why I like the series of Moms Bang Teens (and I swear I have no incest fetish, despite what this paragraph may lead you to think): it's always the same guys, the women are famous stars, but they take the time to set up a different narrative in each video that ultimately leads to a 3some made so much better by the storytelling. Unfortunately, it's still porn at heart: they waste little time getting to the sexy parts, and once they're in you kinda forget what led to it (instead, they should include dialogue that reminds the audience of the stakes).
That's also why I like Japanese porn. Since they have to censor the interesting bits, they make up for it with good ideas, like a newscaster being bukkaked on camera, or a woman engaging in sexual intercourse in a bus full of people... or the zombie flick from /r/WTF.
I want to bring unforeseen twists, make whole series with an overarching plot, awaken fantasies inside the audience. That is the beauty of porn, after all: you'll never get to bang 4 virgins yourself, so we might as well give you one hell of a show. At that point it's not so much about what happens on screen, but why and where. I remember watching a Japanese flick once... I didn't understand anything, but it started with two girls playing a game of tennis, and it ended with one of those two becoming the slave of the other (it was still very vanilla, fortunately for me). The film ended with a striking picture: the naked slave was on all fours, licking the mistress who was resting her foot on the slave's back. It took place in their school's empty playground. It was a beautiful picture and a fit end for the movie, the sexual aspect was only an addition, not the main focus. That is what pornography should be, not the fucking Kardashian sex tape.
