What is something that disappeared after the pandemic?

My 11 year partnership ended recently as well. Tinder wasn't a thing yet when I met her and we started our life together. OkCupid was a thing though.

Mostly, as a man, I've noticed the level of "scamminess" has increased 1000%. Match with an attractive woman? She's probably just on the dating app to farm social media contacts. Sends you her instagram or snapchat as her first message and doesn't respond after that.

Lots of bots. I had four separate conversations with people who claimed to be from Poland. They even responded the same to certain questions and had the same ridiculous nonsensical responses to questions.

The most genuine connections I've had so far have been with illegal immigrants using translation apps and people who want to cheat on their dying husband because they haven't been touched in years and don't want to leave.

And yeah, I realize that probably says more about me than the state of the world, but it's the only lens I have.
