what was a time you had a gut feeling about something, ignored it, then ended up being right about it in the end?

This happened to me this year. I mad a mark on my face that I discussed with my dr. He referred me to a dermatologist in his clinic. She requested I send her pictures and I meet with her via phone appointment. She took an entirety of 30 seconds on the phone with me, told me it’s nothing to worry about and I could remove it only if I didn’t like it for aesthetic purposes, but I’d have to pay $600. I live in Canada where health expenses are covered, except when it’s something like this, that is not required for medical reasons.

I decided to get it removed, they did a biopsy, and it was cancer. I caught it early and they just cut it out and I was done with it. The dermatologist could have killed me due to pure incompetence and laziness.
