What TV series started off really well, but was ruined by the seasons that followed?

I can't speak for the person you responded to because I obviously don't know exactly what he's referring to. But I can respond to you & say that I don't think it's the worst thing in the world if he was referring to the LGBTQ inclusion when we're talking about a show that started 12 years ago in a different time & had zero to do with that as opposed to today when 95% of all shows & movies seem hell bent on having that LGBTQ representation. Not that it's a bad thing alone, but the need to scramble & focus on one thing can potentially take away from what originally made something great. When you look back at Season 1 & 2 & think of episodes like Robin & Artemis running from the Reds. The dream training. The therapy episode. Red Arrow being a sleeper. The real Roy Harper. Artemis & Kaldur being moles. The Summit. Even love affairs were less about the affair & more on the affect it has on the missions & story. There was no LGBTQ element & it wasn't necessary
