I'm guessing you're wondering how to make those on the Right feel apathetic. I wish I knew the answer. One possible way would be to frame any discussion in a way that directly affects them. Although the example in the article concerning the Puerto Rican w/o power still praising Trump is a little extreme, it does underline the difficulty of appealing to the individual.

My point is we on the Left can't take the division by demographic bait. We also shouldn't leave those that have been duped to stay in that state of mind. Yes it's more difficult to convince someone they've been fooled than to fool them in the first place, it doesn't mean it's not impossible.

"United we Stand. Divided we Fall." should be everyone's mantra.
