What do you wish was NOT Socially Acceptable?

It is terrible that people do that, but the way that smokers are being treated by the rest of the populous honestly I can't blame them anymore. It is completely okay to discriminate against smokers in modern day America. Even equal opportunity employers are allowed to not hire people due to them being a smoker. Apartment complexes I've been at will tell people they are not allowed to have an ash tray or a small enclosed ash bin because they "look bad." So when those people just threw the butts on the ground/grass I question how they don't see that coming. Campus's going "smoke free" are 100% discriminating against a minority because they can. Standardly there were smoking areas that are out of the way and didn't bother anyone. Get rid of the smoking areas and what do you expect is going to happen, now people will just smoke wherever and when someone complains they'll tell em to shove it, it isn't illegal and they can't actually ban it. If the reason is that cigarettes have a scent that some don't find pleasant then keep the areas and it is out of the way, and also ban all cologne/perfume and scented fragrances for everything all around. If you are banning it because it is bad for those smoking then a ban needs to be placed on everything that is bad for you, meaning all foods that aren't healthy. If they are doing it because it affects other people's health, then they need to ask how it is doing so, because 2nd hand smoke was never anything more than a faked scandal to push their cause, and a campus shouldn't be promoting not using legitimate sources.

Sorry, end rant.
