What is the worst reaction you have had from a guy after you rejected him? How did it make you feel?

Ugh, I hate to list out a bunch of racist bullshit, because it's hurtful racist bullshit and not anything that i would want you or anyone else to take to heart. But if you really want to know, I can share some things.

A lot of it is xenophobia. A lot of the time Indian men are painted as immigrants whether they actually are or not. I'm a first generation American myself, my dad immigrated from Italy as a child, but I never really have to justify that I'm a "real" American. I know many Indian people who's families have been here for generations but they still get questions like, "i know you're from South Dakota but where are you really from?" Another thing is that we have a heavy focus on race here but people aren't often as conscious about differentiating ethnicities within a race. So an Indian guy who just comes across as "brown" to people will sometimes get stereotypes that are actually meant for Arabs. All of the " MUSLIM TERRORIST AAH" crap that American Arabs usually get. Sometimes Indian people are even assumed to be Hispanic or black and get those stereotypes too. It's sometimes assumed that Indian men are more sexist or misogynistic than white men. Indian culture is sometimes painted as "backward" or needed to be enlightened to american's superior ways. Colonialism bullshit. Exoticism and hyper-sexualization. They're almost never portrayed in American movies as leading roles or heroes, almost always comedic relief or villains. People who aren't Christian are pretty alienated here, Muslim and Hindu and Sikh people don't have it easy. It ranges from having their religions glossed over, to having their clothes publicly mocked and even sometimes violence. People make hurtful comments about Indian food and Indian people smelling like "curry." There are, oddly enough, both stereotypes about Indians being poor and being rich. Stereotypes about them being frugal or stingy. Stereotypes about them being math and science geeks. Stereotypes about them gaining success only because of affirmative action. Stereotypes about them being hairy or small and weak or feminine or just plain unattractive. Stereotypes about them having an inherent political agenda, planning to take over and threatening the American way of life. It's all just so ridiculous I feel bad even saying it :-/. I'd like to think that there are many, many people here who know how bullshit all of this is.
