This one brings up awful memories and is a sore spot to this day, 15 or so years ago.
After work I met up with some friends who were at someone's house I'd never met before. I didn't want to hang out with strangers after a long shift and wanted us to just leave but they insisted I stay awhile.
Two rather unattractive women (to me) lived there and I came in to them playing strip poker. They were loaded in vodka, my friends were not. I didn't want to be rude but kept trying to get my friends to take the hint so we could bolt - but they weren't leaving.
They asked me to join in. I didn't want to. Was persuaded to. First hand, my friends each have a full house and I'm instantly on to the fact they are cheating. I wasn't cheating and lost along with the two young women. I don't want to get naked, I don't even want to be there, but I can't very well call them on their cheat for some reason. Girls take off their tops. Not pretty. I call a time out smoke break. Girls head upstairs and I head out back for a smoke.
Tried asking my friends wtf the plan was and why the hell they were even there. Either way I wanted out.
I called their cheats and they said the girls didn't care. At that point I said the now-infamous line "yeah but I don't want to see that shit!"
Right away a window slams shut above us followed by crying. Turns out they were listening from upstairs and I offended them. I felt terrible in a way, didn't mean to hurt feelings. But I wasn't taking back what I said. Girls came down and kick us ALL out, them in tears, and I get to listen to what an asshole I am and how hurtful I was and how I "blew it" for my friends.
I still can't wrap my head around any of it.
