What do your parents deny ever happening? How has this affected you?

My dad says all sorts of nasty things to me all the time and then magically forgets everything he says to me. My parents got divorced when I was 4, my dad remarried to the woman he cheated on my mom with and they have their own kids. My dad and my stepmom have been pretty resentful my whole life about how they have to give child support to my mom.

So now that the backstory is out of the way, my Dad routinely says nasty things to me. When I went on one vacation with him, he told me I was overweight every single day. He said to me in front of one of his friends "not to say something with such a gay inflection". I'm gay, BTW, but I'm not effeminate, so he literally only said that because I'm gay. He told me I was fat on my graduation night. After I started working, the job I got out of school before I graduated that pays around 75k, its also a job in the federal govt. He told me that " the federal government is totally incompetent and those are my taxes hard at work" and that "I don't make enough money". Oh, and last time I talked to him, he couldn't even remember what I did, although he acted like he knew, but wouldn't answer the question I asked him of " Do you even know where I work?". He told me it was disrespectful to ask that question. My last conversation I had with him, he told me that everything I said to him about what he says to me is a lie and that the reason I don't like him is because "my and my twin brother are so miserable with our lives, that we talk about how miserable we are all the time and I'm crazy, so that's why I don't like him". So now, neither me nor my twin talk to him anymore and he wonders why.
