What was your "worst they can say is no" event that ended worse than a "no"?

I said "no", when I had a narcissistic World of Warcraft guild leader ask me through Discord to raid when they were missing one person and I told him that I was feeling exhausted from work and didn't feel like playing anything. He took it very personally and tried to accuse me of betraying the guild.

He immediately demoted my rank from officer to recruit. He then removed me from the roster and expunged all of my DKP (points earned from raiding). He then publicly told everyone when I was offline that I had purposefully refused to help anyone when my help was needed the most, he stated he demoted me because of my "selfish" behavior has harmed the guild and everyone in it, and told everyone that I was Persona Non-Grata until I publicly apologize to him and everyone in the guild for not wanting to play the game on an optional raid day.

He wanted me to heal for his alt's Karazhan run.

I left the guild shortly with about 7 other members who balked at how crazy he was behaving, his guild fell apart next week when they cancelled the actual main raid.
