What was your "wow, it's such a small world" experience? [Serious]

I flew from WI home to AZ with a connecting flight in TX. I was returning from a visit to a convent to see if I wanted to be a nun. I have flown dozens of times and always thought it would be neat to have a priest on my plane like in the movies. For the TX to AZ leg of the flight, I upgraded my seat to first class because i had never flown first class and wanted to see what the fuss was about for an extra $80.

I walk towards my terminal and see a guy in all black hunched over. I get closer and realize it is a priest in a cassock texting on his phone. No way, a priest on my flight! I think to myself. It was 2020 and everyone was wearing masks, and i got even closer and realized No way!! This is MY priest!

My parish priest was on the same connecting flight back home as me, coming from GA. The poor thing is comically tall, so I got hit with Catholic Guilt watching him shuffle all the way to the back in coach as we boarded. I was in the front row of 1st class. The flight attendants were chatting enthusiastically about there being a priest on board, so I took that as an opportunity to ask if I could swap seats with him so he could have the leg room, and they decided to let him have the empty seat next to mine.
