What's the dumbest way you've hurt yourself?

Sorry I'm late...

When I was about 20 I went over to my parents house to help my Dad put a fence up. No experience on my side, thought I could help with most of the labor and Dad could be the foreman. Going well, using a t post pounder to push hammer the posts in. If you're not familiar, essentially it's a cylinder shaped steel tool that you hammer the post into the ground with. The inside of the tool is hollow, you cover the post and repeatedly lift and hammer the post down with your hands.

Anyways, again still going well when I get to the gate. The gate post had a bit more length with its decor top on it and on about my third hammer I thought heard something break. Unfortunately I was already going back up to slam for a 4th time and when I did, the tool cleared the decor piece (which had broken) and the weight of the tool with my force of pulling down brought the steel pounder down on my head.

I drop the tool, stumble a bit while reaching for my head and my Dad immediately says "you good, you good?" I look up at him and as I do can feel the blood running from the top of my head down my face. I peel my shirt to cover the wound and he screams for my mom and wife.

I wasn't really worried until we get in the car maybe a minute later and he rips out of the driveway. On the way to the hospital however we got the bleeding to almost stop with some towels.

9 Staples, a concussion, scar I feel everyday in the shower and a lifetime of hard hat jokes everytime I attempt to do work around a house.
