What's a massive scandal / controversy that people seem to have forgotten about?

When the 2020 Iowa caucuses ended without a clear winner and Pete Buttigieg declared victory, part of the problem with getting clear vote totals was the implementation of the new Shadow vote-counting app that the state democratic party had demand all the local caucuses adopt. It later came out that several executives from the company that developed Shadow, or their spouses, had been employed by the Buttigieg campaign. In fact, Bernie had won the Iowa caucuses, not Buttigieg, but instead of getting a boost from victories in almost all of the first 4 primaries/caucuses, the media just stopped talking about it and no one covered Bernie's victory, much less Shadow's relationship to the Buttigieg campaign, except the Intercept and other "fringe" media.
