What's the most hard-hitting realisation you've ever had?

I resonated with this comment and agree with a lot of what you said. One thing I disagree with though is your definition of the meaning of life. Maybe it's cause I'm more of an optimist? haha

The meaning of life is to love and be loved in return.

Suffering is an integral part of life but doesn't define it imo, everything suffers but nothing suffers constantly. To be able to feel love through all the hardships we go through is the real reason we are here. Well not just us everything from cheetahs to elephants to sharks to amoeba to jellyfish! Some would argue that animals (or some animals) aren't capable of love and in return I'll show them a picture I took of sea turtle hatchlings rushing to get to the ocean or of a mother croc holding all her babies in her mouth.
