What's a nightmare you will never forget about?

I have three.

First one is stupid looking at it as an adult, but as a kid it scared the shot out of me. Basically the gist of it is it was a normal night, I was with family, until one uncle pulled his face off to reveal he was actually a zombie and started chasing me. Then everyone else except me did the same and the whole world was zombies pretending to be humans.

The second is a bit more recent. I dreamt that I was in some old house babysitting some rich lady's kids. Then all of a sudden I get this growing anxiety and fear. Nothing was wrong, everything was totally normal and there was no reason for the fear, but instinct told me otherwise. So, I took the kids and started to try to get them to somewhere safe, all while I started going from "something is off here" nervous, to "Oh shit I'm being chased by something way out of my league." As I start walking faster and faster, trying not to scare the kids, all over the place, on the walls, on the kid's clothes, literally everywhere I start seeing text. All it says is "runrunrunrunrunrunrunrun" over and over. At that point I just pick up the kids and sprint and kick down doors to GTFO. Something was chasing me, and was very close. Eventually when I sensed it right up near my face as I was sending the kids up some ladder, I was immediately woken up. I have no explanation for why I was suddenly so scared in that dream, and I never knew what was chasing me. All I knew was "runrunrunrun" and that if I didn't, I was fucked.

Another bonus story because I found it interesting, also fairly recent, is about some book I was reading in the dream. Basically I was researching this book with some guys, and learned that it basically sucks people in to fuel some kind of evil power. There were a bunch of odd, cryptic drawings on it. But when it sucked someone in, the drawings would disappear, and only two things would appear, a drawing of a boat, almost overflowing with corpses, headed by one dark figure holding a lantern on the left page. And a massive flame on the left. The corpse boat started moving towards the flame, as in the drawing itself, no pages turning. As it reached the flame, I heard nothing but screaming from what sounded like hundreds of terrified people. And that's where it ended.

I have a couple more, but I'm a bit iffy on the details as they were long ago, but I thought these were a bit interesting and worth sharing.
