What's a problem of yours that would be solved if someone just gave you $5000?

Everything. My wife is disabled with epilepsy. Our 2 year old was diagnosed with autism in February. When I applied for him, her benefits decreased by $500 a month for some reason.

I can't even work more at my job to make up the difference because it I make more it decreases her benefits even further, making it a waste of my time.

We're desperately struggling with this sudden loss of almost 25% of our income. We were already considered working poor and with me a full time nursing student in college...it's been hard to keep food in the kitchen honestly. I've had to take payday loans and credit card advances - with no idea how to pay them back - just to get food and make rent.

$5000 would return us to our standard of living for the next 10 months and bridge the gap until the baby is approved for benefits as well. I'm not crazy about taking government handouts but my wife literally can't work and we need the waiver program for my son to get therapy and such. It'd be nice to start school next month without worrying whether or not I can pack a lunch that day.
