I was living with my housemate and we were two young girls living alone. We were watching the X Files late one night and my dog was standing near our front window fixated on something. She pushed the curtain aside and I saw a flash of eyes and someone standing there in the dark at our front door and my heart dropped.

I said "Is someone there?!" And leapt off the couch and all we heard was "I just wanna talk to you love, just wanna talk..."

I ran to the front door and realised it was unlocked so quickly threw the bolt while my housemate ran to lock the back. We rang the police and they came and did a perimeter search but couldn't find anyone. I have no idea how long he was standing there watching us.
