The one that really grinds my gears on this topic is when I hear 'white people have no culture'. I think what they're trying to say is that in countries where white people are the majority the art that they create generally tends to be perceived as part of the culture of the whole country as opposed to a subset of society, whereas when a person is a minority this is less likely to be the case. Its an important point to make, and I think a lot of the flashpoints in current media 'culture wars' are because of it, But that specific way of saying it sounds far too much like they're saying 'these people are uncultured' (i.e. do not create art of worth) .
