What's the weirdest first date you ever had?

There was this girl that started working around the same time I began working there. She was only a few months older than I but that means we're from two different years.

Anyway, we grew to like one another. We'd call each other and talk about how much we liked each other so I asked her to go out with me. She rejected me; told me that she just got out of a bad relationship. Fine, it's cool. But we still talked to each other as the other being our crush.

One day, I ask her if she wants to hang out and she agrees. So we decide to go on Saturday and hang out at this place with a movie theater, aquarium, and a bunch of other stuff. I pick her up from her house and we drive down to this place. When we get there, we decide to go to the aquarium first.

I approach the ticket window and buy one ticket for myself and walk away. She starts to walk with me then sees that I only had 1 ticket and goes back to buy hers. It's then that I realize that she took this to mean that this was a date. It was too late at that point to go back. But I kept it up throughout the time. I bought my half and she hers. I also kinda felt like this didn't feel anything like a date and she had rejected me so why should I pay for the two of us for anything? But no matter.

Later she would wake up one morning to tell me about this other guy at work she liked and began dating. We didn't talk much after that, my choice, until a short time ago. Now she tells me how much she regrets ever dating that guy. Her cousin told me that she really liked me a lot.

Another weird, awkward date I had was a girl around two years ago. We met on OkCupid and I picked her up for both dates. The second date was extremely awkward. We went miniature golfing and I had other stuff planned but we couldn't do that because of her clothing.

So we sat on a bench and I was on Yelp looking for something to do. Super awkward especially since she kept turning down all of my ideas.

We eventually went to a Cuban restaurant and then ended the night after that. We texted a bit afterwards but never met up again or spoke.
