It started a little over a year and a half ago. My boyfriend of 12 years and I had recently broken up. I was on the prowl and frequenting a number of dating site. I met a man online, we can just call him Charlie. I don't even remember his real name. We chatted online for a bit and after a few days he asked if I wanted to go out to dinner. I said yes. Up until this point he had gotten quasi sexual and since I had been out of the dating game for such a long time I assumed this was normal. I wasn't even sure if I was looking for another relationship or just some fun on the side. So the day comes when he is supposed to pick me up for our date. Earlier in the day he asks where I want to go and I suggest a local sushi joint that was BYOB. I told him what kind of wine I liked. I spent over an hour getting ready. He came to the door and barely said hi. He asked if I was ready to go. It was very curt and I was confused. But again I thought this was how dating was supposed to go to these days. He does not open the car door for me. I step in and find my foot smack dab in the middle of a Styrofoam takeout container that is filled with ketchup. He sees this happen and doesn't say anything about it. I wipe off my foot with some napkins and newspaper that are also littering his car. My heels are ruined which is sad because I hardly ever wore them. I'm not used to wearing them as it is and they were hurting my feet anyway. But still, I didn't need them to get ruined by an open tray of ketchup in his car. I should have left right then but I didn't. I was still too excited. We drove to the sushi restaurant in near silence. When we got in, I realized he had not brought a bottle of wine. I was almost devastated at this point because it could have really help loosen me up being that I was so nervous. When the waitress came to bring us water, my date immediately placed his order, without looking at me he mentioned that he had read the menu online and already knew what he wanted. I hadn't even received my menu yet. It was really rude. I asked him about his job, and found out that he not only was a slumlord, that would kick people out of his buildings at every turn, he was still an active boy scout. Or whatever you call a 32 year old man that still goes on camping trips with little kids and does not have kids of his own. He talks for almost an hour while we ate, I could barely get a word in edgewise. He made sure to point out that he would frequently physically harm the young boy scout kids that he did not like. (Flicking them in the balls in dark was specifically mentioned.) At this point I regret not reporting him. But the date was about to take an even worse turn and I think I was so shocked I tried to put it all out of my mind. At some point in the date my roommate and her boyfriend had wandered into the restaurant to spy on me. I noticed her giving me the do you need help look. I should have said yes. After we ate, and he asked me if I had enough cash for tip, we got back in his car. I would have offered to leave the tip, but he was insisting that I pay for it before I even got the chance which struck me as rude. In his car, he started to drive me home and started making lewd comments about me and my body. He only seem to focus on my chest. I was uncomfortable. He pulled over and a nearby park and said he needed to go for a walk because he had indigestion. Classy. I told him I really did not want to because I was wearing heels that were sticky with ketchup. He told me it would be good for me. I took off my shoes and had to walk a half mile around the park barefoot. When we made a full revolution, and we're standing in front of some occupied swings, he took the opportunity of being in a very public location in front of small children to spank me. I told him I wanted to end our walk. When we got back in his car he asked if he was going to be coming inside. I told him that I was tired. He then told me that he had to take a shit anyway and dropped me off at home. It was not even 9 p.m.. An hour later I get a text message from him saying that he wants to sit in a shower with me while we are nude, and hold me. I told him that I did not think we were going to work out. He then told me I was fat and unattractive. So that happened.
