Whats your dream career?

You're never too broke to work on it! Study and always listen! Lessons are meaningless if one doesn't practice.

1.) Learn piano. Piano method books really help teach yourself and cost under $20 (Faber, Alfred, John Thompson, Bastien, etc.). Try covering your hands to force yourself to trust your hands, which causes you to look up to read sheet music.

2.) Research. Don't listen to everything on the internet. Make sure it's peer reviewed sources done by real collegiate professionals. Study their pedagogy and see what works for you. Eventually, you're paid for this research...

3.) Try recording yourself occasionally to see your progress.

The people who truly want this career just do it. Practice is a fancy way of saying, teach yourself the music! Learn how to teach yourself. It's hell of a lot of work, but I don't regret my decision for a second.
