What's your favourite obscure Factorio mod?

Okay I've been complaining about the quarry for a while now and you probably noticed, sorry if I sound mad, I really like it.

I have a couple ideas, but take then with a grain of salt.

One thing that could nerf the quarry would be making the initial quarry a non-craftable item that randomly generates iron, copper or coal, making it unreliable and as soon as possible replaced for quarries with specific recipes for itens, for example, a iron quarry requires more iron to do than a coal quarry (iron is harder or whatever lore you want), which at least add some variety and makes it harder to automate.

Another idea would be to make the quarries more complex, for example, instead of simply place the 2x2 item and be happy with it, you could make it need something from another building to work, for example, make the quarry require to be in range of a "dirty deposit" to get rid of the unneeded dirt of the whole or something. maybe make the quarry waste axes in a reduced rate so it isnt maintenance free and actually needs more stuff.

Also 2 thing I think the quarries is really OP at the moment is oil and artifacts, maybe reducing the oil output to something close to the pumpjack and adding a "recipe" for the artifacts instead of mining it
