What's your proudest moment?

In high school, one summer I would always try to do fifty push ups in my backyard everyday or so while idly dreaming about being in a push up competition (no idea why, just something I did). A year or two later, in my senior year, they did these fun little events in the quad. So one day they asked for 1 person from each class. I got high that morning with friends, and was still feeling the buzz, so I was like fuck it. Why not, I went up to volunteer and they already had someone from my class, but I convinced him ill do it. So they lined us up infront of everyone, and im sitting there thinking what did i just get myself into, happily high gazing up towards the sky. They announce what were gonna do, and out of all the things, a push up competition! I was so happy. All the times I dreamed about this was flashing through my mind as it was happening. I was up against the junior 6 foot tall, Quarterback of the varsity football team. Im 5'7 and later i found out i wasn't the favorite (go figure), so anyway they start counting off. I was focused on keeping pace (it makes my heart beat fast telling you this), twenty or thirty push ups go by, and I vaguely hear the sophomore drop out. We get to forty or so and I hear the junior to my left, gasp for air, and in my strategic competitive nature, pumped out THREE push ups at the pace of one. I hear the crowds jaw drop in unison exclaiming "DAYUUUUM!" and simultaneously he bowed out. I had the biggest grin on my face, I looked to the left to see who was left, and the freshmen was doing wimpy push ups, but he forfeited shortly after. I felt like a king. It was all a blur at this point. I got up and all the seniors were so happy, high fiving, I was so proud. In conclusion i guess, dream the silly dreams, you never know when or how they might present themselves to you.
