You have some options. But it will depend on openings this late in the summer. School choice: if the school they are sending you to is a failing school. You’re parents can school choice you to another option ( if there are openings)Option 2. Magnet school programs: the lottery is closed but,You can attend the school you’re zoned for And put in for the lottery( they draw a few times a year) for a spot for next year. Go onto cms schools website. Magnet programs..... look at programs you’re interested in. Option 3 board transfer. Hard to do. Your parents will have to have a legit reason why you cannot attend the school you’re zoned for. Option 4 affidavit. Transportation issues? After school job closer to the other school? Family member you stay with after school is in the zone of the school you want to attend? There’s a few ways to get an affidavit to attend another school. Again your parents are going to have to call and see if they can swing the requirements. What school do you want to attend and which one are you zoned for? You can PM the answer.
