I am on a sports team and found out that a good amount of the women who I’ve played with and considered friends (for 8 years +) had talked about how I have a rough life/ have been paid for sex and do a ton of drugs. When I was younger I was in a tough spot and they were my role models, but none of them had ever checked on me and only talked to others as if they have helped me out during that and cared. I never got the invite to most things they do that don’t involve the bar or after they were done. My final hit was hearing that one of the women I consider a friend told another that I’m not to be trusted as I don’t have any real relationships at the club and I would steal her man. ( I would never and I thought all of these people were my friends) it’s truly sad to know they’ve all said these things and have them come up smiling pretending to care about what’s going on in my life at this point.
