When people say climate change isn't happening because it's snowing where they are.

I have to confess something. I am not surprised you can't find proper scientific evidence to support your point. This is because I already know that there is not a scientist in the world who can prove what you are arguing because of some of the research I did while working on my PhD. Also, no, I didn't take away your precious internet point, I actually want people to see how stubborn and biased you are.

By the way you have this. How is Hanson wrong? All you did was list a site run by someone I have never heard of C3 before. I still read the articles they wrote though, and they are simply not trustworthy. Where did he get all the information to make those graphs and his claims? He does not cite his sources. When he does, he links to bp.com, a major oil company with an interest in downplaying the global warming issue, or wikipedia (and therefore not a scientific source).

The first link you provided has the paper written by Hansen 2010, which shows that 2010 was the hottest date in history thus far, and this is despite of the cooling changes due to El Nino.

The third link you provided is a Fox News article (the link to the actual paper is broken, probably because the paper does not exist). Again, Fox News is not a reliable source, but even despite that they say that the world has not been warming as fast as predicted. But the world is warming though, so doesn't that support global warming? I am expecting you to say that it is the same warming as the Earth has been doing for the past millions of years or whatever, and that millions of tons of CO2 will have magically no effect whatsoever on anything at all.

Putting all of that aside though, I want to know why you personally are so against the concept of global warming. I was also when I was in high school, I thought it was a bunch of hippie bullshit and I hated it. But then when I saw a literal MOUNTAIN of evidence against my personal beliefs, I realized that I was actually the crazy one by not believing what was in front of me.

Then I got a bit older and realized something even more important than whether or not global warming is actually occurring. Regardless of the warming of the earth, shouldn't we reduce emissions anyway? There is no way that reducing carbon emissions will harm anyone, except big oil companies (not that I hate them or anything, I like my car). The only possible effect from reducing CO2 emissions that can come is that we accidentally make the world a better place. How can that be a bad thing, and why do you oppose that?
