Where are Bruno and 2GD?

Bruno

I've always known you were Icefrog the moment I saw you enter the Dota 2 scene publicly. You came in from nowhere and took the community with storm. Usually storm is a bad thing but in this case it was a storm of positivty - I like that.

In order to maintain the structural integrity of the scene you did things most studios and casters failed to do - you talked with the community. Most people won't realise how hard that is. You have a work and at the same time people form the community wants to talk to you. You fulfilled that need. You did what others failed in doing - you made us what we are today, and if it weren't for you dota 2 wouldn't be here today.

You've given this community a gift. The gift is Dota 2 and we know you developed it. Next time - instead of a thank you note - I will send you a superhero cape; because that's what you are to us - a superhero in its truest form.

People tend to associate superheroes with Aliens coming from outside of earth with powers not comparable to normal humans. I believe that association to be true and in your case I believe you to be a superhero who truly have come from an alien planet to bless us human beings with the game of Dota 2. Your name is Icefrog afterall.

Being an Icefrog in disguise of a human being must've been tough this whole time. Most people like to see themselves get the credit but in your case you have taken a step to not take the full credit of what you have created for the better of the game. But do you know what I have just described (not only did I describe you)? I just described a good leader. And that is what you are Icefrog - you are a good leader. When you see a mountain of work you think "how do we overcome this mountain in the best way with the community in mind?" to answer yourself "the best way is to educate ourselves and see what obstacles lie ahead to learn the objectives we need to overcome in order to overcome this mountain". That is the work of a true leader and that's how you work, Bruno.

There's a saying that there's the kind of people who do the work and then there's the people who take the credit. A true hardworking american citizen who plegdes his allegiance to the american flag falls under the first curriticum - and that's you. Everyone likes a hardworker. But Bruno, we are happy to see you finally being able to get the credit you deserve.

To my muse and my flame, Bruno
