Yes criticism from non Germans. Germans do nothing all day but complain about what is shit about Germany how there is no thing that could not need some improving.

The part of not taking criticism from foreigners is because while many do think our country could do much better, many still think it does better than the rest, wether that is true or not

The over-patriotism that's said in this thread about Germany is because of a tendency to be criticised too often, a defence mode kind rather than because they think Germany is perfect in every way. Part and parcel of being a big country with clout.

That's not to say that the other forthright doesn't exist too, it damn well does and doesn't take long to notice, but no where near as others are making it to be and neither in the same fashion.
