Which Team Does NOT Deserve To Win The Lottery Today?

Hi, I'm totally okay with you having your opinion that we don't deserve it because, ultimately, we all want to support our own fans. But, reading through your statement, it feels like you're not very well informed, so to speak, about why we even are in the bottom 5.

Injuries have hit us extremely hard this year and the past year. Not that it hasn't for you guys, too, but we had Nash (Former MVP/All-Star) out since the pre-season. We've had Julius Randle, our rookie, out for the year in the first game. We had Kobe coming back from injury, being rusty, eventually getting into a groove but having to go out when his injury that he sustained at the beginning of the season was too much and forced him to get rotator cuff surgery. We've had Ryan Kelly come back from injury, last year, and play a shell of his former self (He's a great roleplayer/off the bench player and showed that in the last stretch of the season when he finally found himself). We had Nick Young go out, Xavier Henry went out, Ronnie Price, etc.

We were hoping to try and make the playoffs (keyword: hoping to. we would have probably ended up 10-11 seed) but definitely not bottom 5. We were expecting to shed a late lottery pick to the Suns but when it became obvious that our season was lost because our talent just wasn't meshing under the new coach and injuries made us depend on Ronnie Price and Wayne Ellington, we put forth the best we could muster but usually lost. I think there was 22-25 games where we lost by under 7 points and kept it really close?

Yes, our FO has picked up a lot of random players that have bombed for us, Boozer for example, and picked up coaches that haven't necessarily been the best for us (D'antoni), but circumstances have been shit to make everything overblown.

So, yes we've been extremely fortunate of a franchise far more than a lot of others, but there is reason why we are bottom 5 and it's just kinda unfair as somebody who watched the 85% of the games this year, to say there wasn't any reason for us to have been so shit.
