White House releases immigration framework that reduces legal immigration by 22 million over next 50 years. How are our politics influenced by the size of the foreign-born population?

The plan is a nonstarter, the only people in America who want less immigration are southern and midwestern/suburban whites who see the writing on the wall for their demographic.

This sentiment right here is honestly asinine and pisses me off. Everyone who wants less immigration is just afraid that whites are becoming a minority? What about the 30% of Hispanics and 25% of Asian Americans who supported Donald Trump, the latter of which includes me? What about people who don’t want to give away valuable jobs - from low labor jobs like construction and agriculture to high-skilled jobs like engineering because of H1B abuse - to foreign workers who are significantly undercutting our pay? What about Americans who are just tired of hearing everyday about Mexican trash raping, murdering, and bringing in gang-related crime to the US? What about Americans who just want to be able to hear their fucking native language spoken more than Spanish (hint: I went to LA last summer and it honestly felt like a foreign country, I swear I overheard more conversations in Spanish than English)?

You also act as if wanting to preserve your culture and heritage is a bad thing. Is Japan, China, or South Korea racist for not letting in hordes of illegals who don’t speak their language who significantly undercut their pay and bring in a boat load of crime and leech of social programs?
