Who do you think was the best college football single season team that did NOT play in the national championship game?

The object of the college football playoff is to send the best 4 football teams in the nation. If it was done strictly off of record, then the CFP committee would be used only for seeding and tie-breaker purposes between teams with even records. But that's not their function, because everyone realizes you can have a team which is better than another team while not having a better record. Everyone seems to agree with this in the final polls, ranking FSU either 6th or tied for 5th and guess what? There are two loss teams ranked ahead of them! Oh no! It's an ESPN conspiracy and SEC bias! Surly the team with the better record is the better team no matter what, right??

As for the OSU vs VT fluke thing, do you honestly believe OSU loses that game more than 2 times out of 10 at the most? Do you honestly believe that FSU would beat any of the top 5 teams more than 3 or 4 times out of 10?

Here's a great explanation of Jameis that doesn't mention the word "black" one time.

Let's walk through this, shall we? Let me get this straight, one of the best leaders CFB has ever seen takes the following actions. Gets his teammates in trouble by helping them vandalize an apartment complex with BB guns. Steals from a Burger King because he's too cheap to play a dollar for a coke, and instead thinks it's a good idea to steal it, and continue to steal it even after he's caught. Steals from a grocery store, lies to police telling them he forgot to pay, which he later admits that he knew his friend was stealing the food for him, and admits that he lied to the police about it. Fucking class act so far man. Hangs two teammates out to dry at a code of conduct hearing. Two teammates who stood up for him when he was accused of fucking rape. Then because the accused rapist thinks it will be funny to yell some dumb bullshit in front of a lot of people, he gets himself suspended for a half and nearly costs his team a game because of it. Oh and he dresses out and argues with the head coach about it before the game. Such a great leader, up there with Tebow and the Mannings so far.

Go find a friend who doesn't watch sports. List off the laundry list of Jameis's antics. Tell that friend that the person you are talking about isn't a thug, but in fact, a great leader and see how long it takes the guy to laugh at you. If Jameis wasn't a star qb, and was just some guy, I doubt any of us would even hang around him with an attitude and track record like that. It takes a real fucking coward to pull the race card when confronted with all this shit instead of just saying "yeah, the guy definitely has some issues". I'll never understand why some people want to hide behind their skin color instead of taking responsibility for their actions. Or better yet, hiding behind someone else's skin color.
