Even with this new knowledge I don't think it makes a lot of sense to then fuck it up and show up late. I get "shit happens" but you have two months, and I assume at some point you two decided to make plans? If we were talking for two months and had weeks in advance to prepare for shit, like what the fuck happened? OP you were either had or you botched it. Either way, move on not worth.

To clarify, I've had very similar circumstances and I'm sure those people are lovely people but like you can't just have two people continually botch meeting up. At that point, even if you're "the one", I'm not interested. What would be worse it to then meet that person and find out you actually don't like them at all and then your texts meant fuck all.
