You deserve to tarred and feathered for this one if you call yourself a basketball fan. I have no idea how you developed such a love for the debatably second best white guy in the NBA today over the greatest white man that has ever graced the game of basketball. Larry Bird is the greatest small forward ever that isn't named Lebron James. Hayward isn't even a top five small forward in the game today. You don't think Larry could handle Hayward's moderately above average athleticism? Larry ran with the likes of Dominique Wilkins, Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Michael god damn Jordan. I think he could find a way to handle Gordon fucking Hayward, unless guys like MJ and Julius Erving are somehow inferior to the skills and athleticism of Gordon. Larry made a career out of using positioning, quick hands, and incredible intelligence to still contribute as a defender consistently. Larry is a fucking god who won multiple championships and 3 straight straight MVPs. Hayward is a baller for certain, but don't be the neophyte who uses some dumbass argument like "Oh he'll just blow by him because he's more athletic" to disrespect one of the most iconic players to ever play the game. It shows you know nothing about playing basketball because that's not how defense works. It shows you know nothing about basketball or it's history, because Larry is one of the best to ever play and has the respect of every player associated with the NBA. It wouldn't be a good game, but they would have to put it under the hardcore section of PornHuB after. Larry would annihilate Hayward while relentlessly raining turn arounds from all over the court and trash talking until he gets board and decides to drop buckets with the left hand until Hayward leaves, gets in his car, drives home to get his computer, traces your location and comes and beats the fuck out of you for saying something so stupid. For your sake I hope this was some kind of a joke, because is the equivalent of saying you could take on Jon Jones just because you won your high schools regionals wrestling semi-finalS
