WIBTA for confronting my GF over a dress she bought

Yea, but my point is $100 is a lot considering their financial situation. She knew the context and still chose to spend a lot of money. If that was me i would minimise my spend as much as possible (i wouldn’t even think of clothes shopping tbh). And when discussing their plans it was specified that they’d only go thrift shopping, and she intended to spend little to no money. Going from that mindset to spending $100 on a dress is quite drastic. I would be confused as to why she wouldn’t contact BF before purchasing either. that’s when she could have asked him about it. Nothing changes but at least it doesn’t come across as she was lying.
