Wife fired for social media, how best to support her

That's the thing that really has me angry. When she started working for this school, the principal pulled her aside and told her not to socialize with certain people in the office because of office politics.

My wife told her "I don't care about any of that stuff, I'm her to work" and did. We have 4 kids. We don't have time for political games at work.

After the first post, the principal pulled her aside and said something along the lines of "you have to be very careful with what you post online."

At her year end review, they made it sound like she couldn't be trusted to not disclose private information about students online.

I firmly believe that if she hadn't posted anything about renaming the school, she would not have gotten fired. That's the only post that is remotely problematic in my mind, and regardless... it's an opinion.

If she was ranting on the board day in and day out, or combative with other parents with opposing views, or anything like that... but no. Three posts all year. And she got fired over it.
