I don't think anyone is demanding denial of facts. I'm under no illusion that our take on history isn't 100% perfect and correct (after all, historians often don't have enough information and have to work with assumptions and theories), but Macedonia is infamous for its blatant historical propaganda designed to deny any sort of connection to Bulgaria for political reasons, going as far as saying that people who explicitly identified themselves as Bulgarians or rulers of Bulgarians were actually Macedonian and opposed and fought Bulgaria. Of course, these kind of claims are largely dismissed by the historians of the world, but they still persist in Macedonia. So if you don't like denying of historical facts, we're not the villains, although we are not perfect either.
