Witcher 3 Endings Discussion - MAJOR SPOILERS INSIDE

I was quite annoyed that I did not even know how I got the ending that I got or how I got the bad ending so I did my research. Apparently it was because of 5 dialog choices you have with Ciri. They are so inconsequential and minute that I don't even understand why they made it this way. Maybe it resolves how your relationship with her but I don't understand how it can affect the entire epilogue of the game. It just seems silly to me.

Also for some reason my Radovid assassination quests got bugged so I could never finish the chain. That was also kind of annoying.

I dunno, I felt betrayed. I tried so hard to do everything right to get the good ending, doing all the quests, contracts, leveling up, doing all the question marks, trying to make the right choices etc. and I still got the bad ending because I chose wrong with 5 simple dialog options. Me letting her go in alone with sorceresses when she seemed like she wanted my help, that's a bad choice? Letting her just explode and ransack everything, possibly letting her lose control of her powers again that made her insecure at Kaer Morhen? that doesn't make any sense to me. If I tell her not to put so much pressure on herself and have a few drinks and that's another bad choice? that seems so strange to me. I remember having a conversation with my grandma about a test that I was nervous about for science class in the tenth grade. She both made us some Hot Coco and told me that I don't have to be good at everything, to take 10 minutes before the test before writing anything down. I ended up relaxing, put my best foot forward with the help of studying and ended up getting an A- on the examination. That's why I chose that Dialog option because it resonated with me. To find out that that's a bad option towards getting the bad ending is...hurtful in a way.

I also couldn't complete the Radovid quests because they bugged out on me. I couldn't continue the chain, that or I just missed it. Kinda stinks, that screwball annoyed me.

The point is, I like the endings themselves it's the way you get them that annoys me. Mainly with the bad ending.

Oh well, maybe when they add all the free DLC I'll play the game again and get over it. All I'll say is I got a similar feeling to when I beat Mass Effect 3 after beating the witcher 3, and I was hoping I would never have to feel that way again. Not saying the endings are as bad as mass effect, but the bad ending definitely hurt because of the way that you get them.
