With the kraken released, who do you think we might loose in the expansion draft?

You're getting very specific with an example that already exists. My point is: would a new franchise take on a $10 million contract for 7 more years for a goalie that hasn't been elite in 5+ years and has injury issues? Especially when there will be other younger, more credentialed goalies available and the league doesn't really need superstar goalies anymore? I don't know the answer to that. That's what I've been saying since the start. But probably not.

I mean, your response is basically, "Of course a new franchise that has other better options would take on a horrible contract for a position that they could more easily fill for a lot less money because another franchise is able to plug holes effectively even though they don't have such an anchor of a contract weighing them down after making great deals to get draft picks and young players that they could make moves on to become a contender in their first year".

Pittsburgh will leave either Murray or Jarry unprotected. I'll close with that.
