Women (or men) who have kept their virginity until marriage due to tradition (or religion), what was the first night like? [Serious]

Hey, I'm an Afghan Canadian, Born in Canada but both parents from Afghanistan. I got married at the age of 18 while I was a virgin to my beautiful wife who was also a virgin, I'm 19 now. The first night I got the chance to sleep beside her we both didn't do anything at all, literally just slept on the same bed but both on different sides and did nothing. I blame myself for this, since it was my first time I was pretty shy, she was too but it's the men's job to go first. But further down the road of our marriage we started to get closer and closer every night, on the 3rd night we hugged each other and I kissed her hand that night. Then the next night we started to be more comfortable so we did different things but we were both virgins so we have no clue what we were doing. And we started to learn things about a week after marriage.

The reason I stayed a virgin (I had many chances to lose my virginity) wasn't because my culture, I did it because I wanted a virgin wife, now most men in Afghanistan get virgin wife's but usually the men are not virgins. This never seemed fair to me so I decided to stay a virgin and get a virgin wife.

Our relationship is very strong now and I feel it had to do with our virgin marriage. Knowing she never had another guy in her life and I never had another girl in mines just changed my entire life, it's the best feeling to have. she's in Afghanistan now and I'm in Canada while I'm in the process of sponsoring her to come here here.

And to this day I think about our first nights together and how we both had no clue what we were doing and it really is the greatest experience losing your virginity in marriage.
