I think the key point that everyone is focused on is that they are "forcing women to be circumcised to make men stronger & not tempted to rape them" when they should be jailing rapists... man or woman...punishing the one offending & violating somebody innocent not punishing young girls by mutilation or promoting rape as a crime. I don't support male circumcision for some bullshit religion or another either, if it would improve their health or is necessary for medical reasons I get it but nobody should be having their genitals cut up bc its what God wants or so the government doesn't have to give women any value in their oppressive society.
Can you imagine if that happened in the UK (illegal here), USA or Europe. There would be fucking riots, sympathising with genital mutilation bc you read on the Internet that sex is better for women that have been circumcised...is pretty fucked up... young girls in parts of Africa have their genitals mutilated bc its what their arranged husbands want bc of tradition & their mothers & sisters beat them & force them to have their vaginas cut up no anesthesia or pain relief in a dirty Hut, they hear girls before them screaming & crying...these are kids that are about 4-15 years old, that shouldn't even know what sex is let alone being a victim to a dumb cultural tradition & sold off to a man twice their age. 98% of young girls in Somalia are FGM victims of a tradition that causes severe bleeding,infections, infertility & death. The result will not be any different in Egypt. I think only someone who isn't aware of how disgraceful FGM is can justify it so I've sent you a link bc honestly I'm disturbed at how willing you are to defend this.
