That's pretty funny. I already gave you the verse that tells you exactly that the gift of God is eternal life. Your version of hell is ETERNAL LIFE, there's no way around it, you have to live in hell to be able to experience eternal torture.

Not only that but your verse, the one you're so keen on is from Revelations which is the one book that is filled with symbolism. The entire passage is rooted in a verse from the old testament.

That verse being Isaiah 34 where there is also talk of smoke rising up forever. And yet that part is about describing the destruction of something. Even many of those who disagree with me here admit that there's an obvious connection between these two passages.

And the full text doesn't even speak about them burning in hell, they literally get destroyed in the presence of the lamb aka Jesus Christ. If you want to argue that Jesus and his angels will reside in hell forever and watch how sinners will be tormented forever you can do that, but I won't.

Not only that but the fact that Death will be thrown into hell itself supports my view too. Death being thrown into the lake of fire means that there will be no more death, just like the souls of the wicked will cease to exist after being thrown into the lake of fire.
