Wondering if I should include something in my resume/cover letter. Can anyone take a look?

Hello, my name is ---; I received an email today informing me of your job opening on care.com. I think I am a perfect fit for you and your family due to my current and future education goals as well as my extensive history with people with both mental and physical disabilities. I currently am attending Chabot College in Hayward. I have three units completed towards a certification in early childhood development and I am on track to graduate in the spring. From there I plan to get my B.A. as well as my teaching credentials to become an elementary school special education teacher. As for relative experience, my first job was to be a nanny for a young girl with severe Autism. I would arrive early morning, help her get ready for school, feed her breakfast, see her on and off the school bus, make her an after school snack, do activities with her, help her with homework as well as take her with me on fun outings. I also have been a volunteer leader at a non-profit organization called Young Life Capernaum off and on for the past 5 years. Young Life is an amazing place for children and adults with all sorts of special needs ranging from Cerebral Palsy to Autism and everything disability in between. I help coordinate and participate in games, organize and plan activities, help prepare snacks and am there as a helping hand for those who need it. Lastly and more recently, I volunteer twice a month at my church in their children’s ministry with special needs. While there I try to stimulate the children with activities suited to their needs, read to them and play with them while their parents are attending service. I’ve always had a passion to work with children and adults with disabilities; I myself have very mild Cerebral Palsy. With my education and career path I’m taking I’ve been a strong motivating influence to others who are disabled as well. I hope that I can and will always be an advocate for those who can’t or aren’t able to fully advocate for themselves or their needs. I feel working with people with disabilities while having one myself, I can provide comfort and understandings of their struggles related to being disabled that others may not fully understand. I’m currently available both full time and part time and my hours are extremely flexible. Please contact me if you feel I am a right fit for you and your family and would like to meet me for an interview. I will contact you in the next two week to see if you require any additional information regarding my qualifications.
