Worst form of clickbait

She shouldn't sue. Nothing here is factually incorrect; just scummy. She'd just end up losing a ton in legal fees and get nothing in return. Best to just let the public outrage take care of it.

The news station will get a short term gain visa vie the clicks they receive from this, but so long as the public rage gets large enough (which, if it's on Reddit with thousands of upvotes, it is on twitter) this will hang over them like a black cloud, and any time they tweet they'll have a following of people replying with "oh I'm surprised you didn't dig for a celebrity connection, scummy news" and they'll never be treated as a reliable source again. CNN and Fox and the large places can get away with shit like this, but smaller news places usually just end up digging their own grave
