The thing is that she seems quite happy in her situation. He is a nice guy overall and she doesn’t have any family except him so he is really important to her. As a married person myself I respect the fact that she doesn’t want un necessary conflicts in her married life. But it’s pretty ridiculous. When I invited her to my baby shower he couldn’t make it so she had to bring her mother in law along (coz he doesn’t let her go anywhere alone) and he seemed to have given them a curfew so they left within an hour. Again it’s a personal matter and I agree you should give your spouse consideration. I’m not expecting her to meet up every week but she won’t even come over once in 6 months. I would hate to lose her as a friend but we are phone friends anyway so ithe friendship will die a natural death anyway I think. Thanks for replying.
