No, but they are the vast majority. My point is that it (mostly) falls into the category of things that are natural end of life causes. You have to die from something, and for many elderly sick people it is covid, but these same people (again most) may have died within a year from heart disease, copd, etc. That means why aren't you freaking out that 3 million Americans die every year? I don't see that as a frequent headline... why are those three million deaths less important than the covid deaths?

Also, worldwide 2.6 million people died of lower respiratory infections. Coronavirus over a one year period took 1.7 million. Of course I still want to do whatever we can to be safe throughout this, and I'm not advocating otherwise, but I'm confused why covid numbers are so shocking in comparison to what we already deal with as a world.
