[WP] You are finally released from your cell and taken into the execution room, where you are informed that the US government does not actually enforce the death penalty.

I sat there in the bleak room, awaiting my release. I thought back to my life, I reflected to myself, "How did I end up here?" A shuffle from across the room brought me back into reality, and suddenly the iron forged door creaked opened and two guards entered the chamber.

My undesired tomb lay as the backdrop of the final scene of my life. Curtain call may have finally come, and I looked unsatisfied as I thought it should have lasted longer.

I chuckled at the notion and to myself I said, "I have heard that one before, and now I am the one left unfulfilled."

The larger of the two guards stopped next to me, his shine coming from his well kept hair was almost blinding. As his hand raised and creases covered his midnight blue uniform, there I saw what he held in his hand. The instrument of my demise, the alpha and the omega, a needle filled with liquid discourage.

"You know why you are here?" escaped the lips of the weapon wielding guard.

I studied his eyes, they were almost slits as I knew he held my death in his hand.

"I know why I have been brought here, if that is what you mean." I spit back.

The lankier of the guards, his face turned to a sneer as his hand reached for my jacket. It was the only suit that I have ever worn, and would be the last thing that would cover this body, it would be poetic if I knew anything about poetry. If I...

Smack!

I could taste the metallic taste that entered my mouth, I could feel something more than saliva fill my throat and it forced a cough out of me. With a sneer I looked up to see the heavier guard throwing the smaller one back in their scuffle, I was amused.

"Clark, this is not how you handle this situation." said the large guard.

The lanky guard, Clark, looks like his fire was only gassed by the larger guard. Clark pulled himself away from the other guard and pierced his soul with his glare.

"He will not sit here and act as though he is an innocent man, Jack." Clark managed to get out.
