I don't like it because it does everything it can to make me not like it. It's unreliable (timetables are a very loose suggestion), it's expensive (gas for the trip by car costs less than taking the train) and most of all I hate being stuck to specific "schedules" (again, loose suggestions) in order to get home.

Buses here aren't even worth it. I can take my bike and get from my home to anywhere in the city center in 20-25 minutes total. Or I can take the bus and sit inside the bus for 30+ minutes. That's time spent inside the bus, not accounting for time spent getting to the bus, waiting becuase it's late (it always is) or time spent getting from the bus station to my destination.
