Zero-WR?

I love this strategy a ton. I tried it in my latest money draft and it turned out really well. I had the 8th pick out of 12 teams:

1. CJ Anderson - I had been struggling with this pick for awhile. I wanted a RB because for me, RB position is the most valuable. But at the same time, I was wary of him potentially busting and I thought having an elite WR would be better. In the end, I decided to go ahead and take him.
2. Jeremy Hill - This was easy. I love Hill a lot and I wasn't expecting him to slide. I decided that I could trade one of them at some point.
3. Latavius Murray - I'm super high on Murray, I honestly think he has the ability to break the top 10. I knew he wouldn't be available at my next pick so I reached. Besides, I knew that even if he wasn't a top 10 back, he was only my flex so it's not like it would kill me.
4. Jordan Matthews - Me reaching on Murray ended up not biting me in the ass and I was gifted with Matthews. I was super happy.
5. Travis Kelce - With how great the rest of my team was already, I knew I could wait on a WR2. I wanted to lock down my TE spot and make it something I wouldn't have to worry about week to week.
6. Jeremy Maclin - Again, my patience paid off. I decided to wait on WR again in favor of solidifying another spot, and it worked out perfectly. If I took a WR at 5, it would've been Maclin.
7. Arian Foster - This was a funny pick because I already had every starting skill spot filled except QB, so why did I wait? Well, this was a simple case of draft awareness. I knew that each of the 4 teams between this pick and my 8th pick already had QBs, so they weren't going to waste such an early pick on a backup, so that is exactly what I did, ha. I figured Foster has a ton of value. Once he comes back, I can trade him or one of my top two picks for a super-receiver, assuming all of my RBs pan out.
8. Eli Manning - I'm a Giants fan, so I am firmly on Eli's bandwagon to have a top 5 year this year. It's inevitable, I think. He should only improve in his second year in the new offense, right? Especially with Cruz back and Randle/Beckham (hopefully) improving.
9. Darren McFadden - I let my heart control this pick. It was him or Blue (for Foster insurance) and I went with the guy who I think could be a starter at the same time as Foster.
10. Brian Quick - At this point, I was just adding some high upside WRs just in case my starting two guys don't do as well as I think they will. I like Quick and I think he finally started to breakout last year after being drafted as a project and I think he could complete his breakout and vault himself into the elites.
11. Montee Ball - Lol. I was drunk and I overheard some of the guys talking about CJ and comparing him to Ball last year, so I got paranoid and wanted to feel safe. At the time he was the favorite to be the handcuff, before he was about to lose his roster spot. He's since been dropped.
12. Devin Funchess - I thought, hey, maybe he has a big year like Kelvin did last year, being a large, and the only, target.
13. DeVante Parker - His situation reminds me of OBJ's last year so I said fuck it.

I'd say my draft turned out really well. Sorry for rambling, I do that sometimes.

TL;DR: I had a super successful draft using the zero-WR strategy and I wanted to use this post as an excuse to rosterbate and discuss my team. But in reality, the best draft strategy is to go in flexible and not have a set strategy. Although I do prefer RB heavy in general.
