Why am I being so pedantic. Because I'm a psychologist that spent a great deal of time doing a lot of statistical research in order to get my masters. Because when someone misuses statistics to make a point rather than use it properly it bothers me.

You know there's a great little saying that's been attributed to Greek philosopher Socrates, and although it's not been proven I still love its general message. It goes like this: "When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser." I said, "Oh dear", because I'm from the South. I've always said it and will continue to say it. It wasn'the an insult. Did you see anywhere in my response where I called you names? No. You know what the problem was? You read it to yourself and we're already offended before you started. So you read it with a bad attitude. Try a little less of that. I'm having a normal conversation and you're getting pissed for no reason. You made a mountain out of a molehill. Now you can either have a conversation and apologize for being out of line or piss off. Your choice.
